Long Island Association of Professional Geologists and
Long Island Geologists Dinner Meeting and Talk featuring: Sy Robbins, CPG Mr. Robbins is presently a Hydrogeologist
with the SCDHS and has previously held positions at the Suffolk County
Planning Department and Long Island Regional Planning Board. His presentation
will discuss the implimentation and results of the 1997 2001 program
of groundwater monitoring targeting pesticides carried out by the SCDHS.
Part of his talk will address efforts to set up a Suffolk County Clearing
House to provide access to the SCDHS groundwater model on-line. Thursday June 26th, 2003 Cocktails 6:00 p.m.: Dinner 6:30 p.m.: Presentation 7:30 p.m. Business meeting to follow presentation. at Holiday Inn, Plainview 215 Sunnyside Blvd. Exit 46 on the L.I.E., just off the service road. Reservations required by Monday June 23rd,
2003. Program cost is $30.00 including dinner for members,
$35.00 for non-members. Cash bar. Companies
